When you are in the fear zone, you deny that racism is an issue. You have to work through the fear to become anti-racist and acknowledge how you benefit from racism.
Is this chart saying that the first step towards being an anti-racist educator is the validate your students LIVED EXPERIENCES?
She's talking about doing a curriculum audit to make sure every component of the student's classroom experience is anti-racist. They're calling it "culturally responsive"
