As far as I can tell, Tiffany Haddish has the most followers on CH, hitting 900k followers soon. The ratio is ~0.1% of people who follow you into a room, that means almost 900 people will enter a room she jumps on stage.
But here’s the zinger on Follow 4 Follow rooms, Follow Farming, etc. It simply doesn’t pay off. Even if you spent months to gain 10k Followers, and the result is you can pull in 10 people (0.1%) into a room. But most leave, what’s the point? A room title > follower counts.
And then there’s this. If you spent a full month getting followers, have you really gotten the best thing you could put of Clubhouse? I’ve made very close friends on here, people I even consider lifelong friends. I’d take that over a million followers any day.
I get that people can & will use the platform for business, networking, etc. but I’m unconvinced following is at all important to that. I think here are a few things:
- clickbait room title
- consistency
- high quality speakers
- interesting engaging formatting
Any other ideas?
