It isn't asylum seekers fault they are crammed into substandard conditions, yet @CPhilpOfficial somehow thinks it's acceptable to blame them for catching Covid. The way all migrants have been treated during the pandemic demonstrates a callous disregard for life by the government.
I talk about the law, a lot, regarding refugees, and there are some fundamental principles of international law and the provision of suitable accommodation and medical assistance which @CPhilpOfficial is ignoring, but it isn't about the law, it's about humanity.
The lack of respect, the outright hostility towards more to the point, asylum seekers and migrants demonstrated by not only @CPhilpOfficial, but also @pritipatel and the @ukhomeoffice costs lives, but they just don't care, because they see those lives as worth nothing.
