hey besties as an asian person i think that tweets that go along the format of "racism against asians is normalized" etc (and for other races but i am not those races so im j speaking 4 myself) come across as unintentionally antiblack. the concept that some forms of racism (1/3)
are more acceptable/normalized than others seems like a way to pit minorities against each other and specifically to make it into a "racism is only seen as black and white!!!" when in reality antiblack racism is prevalent and normalized as well. all forms of racism are (2/3)
ultimately normalized and pushing that one form (for example white/nonblack people saying the n word) is less acceptable because black people speak out against it for their own community unintentionally pushes antiblack divisions within communities of color (3/3)
