A rundown of Trump’s worst offenses:
Refused to release tax returns
Accepted emoluments in violation of the Constitution (we sued)
Hired daughter and son-in-law, costing lives
Put a “Muslim ban” in place, that mysteriously left out countries where Trump did business
Overt racism: see “shithole countries,” “why don't they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came,” “law and order”
Made more than $13 million from special interests hosting events at Trump properties
Hired more former lobbyists than any president before him (that we know of)
Tried to host the G-7 at his resort
Separated families at the border, made no records to reunite them
Sent millions of taxpayer dollars to Trump properties (all those golf cart rentals don't come cheap)
Lied about Secret Service preferences to funnel even more $$$ to his businesses
Paid more than $2 million in damages for illegally using Trump Foundation charitable funds for political purposes
Apparently violated up to eight campaign finance laws by instructing Michael Cohen to make hush money payments to Stormy Daniels
Demonized the press
Installed his crony/fundraiser Louis DeJoy at USPS
Oversaw disastrous and deadly response to coronavirus, full of potential conflicts of interest
Continued to receive foreign trademarks while in office (same with Ivanka Trump)
Refused to concede his defeat in the 2020 election
IMPEACHED TWICE (once for withholding aid to Ukraine in an attempt to win an election, once for inciting an insurrection)
Fired inspectors general, impeachment witnesses and US attorneys
Pardoned Roger Stone, Duncan Hunter, Blackwater Guards and Charles Kushner
Campaign staff apparently committed criminal offenses (his inaugural committee and family are still under investigation)
Embraced authoritarian leaders, especially Vladimir Putin (and destroyed notes of his meeting with Putin)
There's a lot that still demands accountability. So, no, we are not quite ready to "move on" for the sake of unity.
