And let me tell you what I saw was not only not antiracist pedagogical methods for German Studies, it was downright offensive.
Focusing your course on Black & brown bodies and their works does *not* make your course antiracist. It just demonstrates that you do not know 2/

what antiracism in pedagogy looks like and that the overwhelming white noise of German Studies has remained unchecked. If you don’t confront your own white gaze upon Black & brown bodies, how the hell you gonna teach your students differently?
