#100in100 is OFFICIALLY UNDERWAY!! My first scouting breakdown is on USC offensive lineman Alijah Vera-Tucker. I gave him a Round 1 grade — read the article below for more info and share with a friend!

All I really want for my birthday is for you to read my breakdown on Minnesota WR Rashod Bateman. He may not be as fast as some of the other game-breakers in this receiver class, but I think he’d be a great pick for the Chiefs. #100in100

Florida WR Kadarius Toney is one of the most explosive and dynamic playmakers in this year’s draft class. How would he fit into the Chiefs’ offense, though? Check out my #100in100 breakdown for analysis & a draft grade

Landon Dickerson has some of the best tape of all O-Linemen in this year’s draft class. With that said, he comes with some red flags in the form of concerns about his medicals. Read my report for more info & a draft grade. #100in100

Oklahoma State right tackle Teven Jenkins has some of the strongest hands in this draft class. How would he fit with the Chiefs’ OL next season? Scouting report and draft grade

Sticking with OL! Oklahoma’s Creed Humphrey has a lot of traits that translate well to the NFL. If you can look past his average athleticism, you’ll see a damn good player who the Chiefs may want to take a look at.

NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah recently mocked Washington DT Levi Onwuzurike to the Chiefs with pick No. 32. He’s a player with a ton of potential, but are the Chiefs in the position to take the “best player available” here?

He doesn’t play a position of immediate need for the Chiefs, but Pittsburgh safety Paris Ford makes things happen. He’s athletic, aggressive and versatile, which may remind you of a current member of the Chiefs’ secondary

Houston EDGE Payton Turner may not be the most refined pass-rusher in this class, but he brings a lot to the table. His athletic ability and versatility alone make him an enticing prospect whose draft stock should keep rising

Washington EDGE Joe Tryon sat out of the 2020 campaign, which might just allow him to be available on Day 2 of the draft for the Chiefs. While he still has plenty of room to grow, he already boasts some intriguing qualities. https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-washington-edge-joe-tryon

Notre Dame EDGE Daelin Hayes has been turning heads this week at the Senior Bowl, and rightfully so. He’s capable of winning in a variety of ways and if he can do so consistently, he’ll be a great value pick on Day 3 of the draft: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/daelin-hayes-kansas-city-chiefs

Alabama tackle Alex Leatherwood would be a perfect addition along the Chiefs’ OL. His strength, power and versatility are all top-notch — read the article below for more details and my draft grade: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-alabama-offensive-tackle-alex-leatherwood

Wake Forest WR Sage Surratt has the physicality and frame to be a legit downfield and red zone threat at the next level. His athleticism is a question mark, but he’d still add an interesting dynamic to the Chiefs’ offense: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-wake-forest-wide-receiver-sage-surratt

ASU wideout Frank Darby had an underwhelming 2020 season, but that may play into the favor of teams looking to draft him late. The big-play threat has some work to do, but boasts intriguing upside IMO.

LSU wideout Terrace Marshall Jr. boasts a ton of potential, but needs work in order to reach that ceiling. How would he fit in the Chiefs’ offense? Check out the article below for a detailed scouting report and draft grade: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/terrace-marshall-kansas-city-chiefs

Sam Cosmi is one of the top offensive line prospects in this year’s draft. He’s long, moves well and could step in and replace Eric Fisher/Mitchell Schwartz instantly. He also fits well in a zone-run scheme.

Texas EDGE Joseph Ossai is one of the best speed rushers in this year’s class, and he still has a ton of room to grow. If he get stronger, he’d be a great partner opposite Frank Clark in due time. Full report and grade: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-texas-edge-joseph-ossai

UAB EDGE Jordan Smith is about as high-risk, high-reward as it gets in the draft. He has length and athleticism that simply can’t be taught, but needs a lot of work before he thinks about contributing full-time. Report and grade: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-uab-edge-jordan-smith

Illinois WR Josh Imatorbhebhe a very interesting Day 3 prospect. His frame and contested catch ability should translate well to the NFL and if he can refine the rest of his game, there’s a chance he becomes a starting X.

PFF’s recent mock draft had TCU safety Trevon Moehrig mocked to the Chiefs in the first round. He has good coverage skills and range as a free safety, likely serving best as a quality single-high or split-zone S in the NFL.

If Daniel Sorensen leaves the Chiefs in free agency, their need for a third safety will be legitimate. UCF’s Richie Grant is an athletic and versatile playmaker, and one who’d be a fun option in KC: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-ucf-safety-richie-grant

Ifeatu Melifonwu is a lengthy and physical corner who still needs a bit of work, but has immense potential. This probably isn’t a year the Chiefs should invest in a CB early but if they do, Melifonwu makes a lot of sense.
Scout: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-syracuse-cornerback-ifeatu-melifonwu

The Chiefs’ linebacker situation isn’t an issue... yet. If they’re looking to develop a high-ceiling player to fly around the field with Willie Gay Jr. down the road, UNC’s Chazz Surratt is intriguing (to say the least)

Scout: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-north-carolina-linebacker-chazz-surratt

Notre Dame EDGE Adetokunbo Ogundeji measured well at the Senior Bowl. In addition to being 6’3” w/ long arms and a great wingspan, he has a decent get-off at the LOS and enough power to be a more than worthy Day 3 pick: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-notre-dame-edge-adetokunbo-ogundeji

BYU IDL Khyiris Tonga has a quick first step and a bull rush that led to some disruptive plays during his collegiate career. He brings value as a rotational/developmental Day 3 draft pick.
Report and round grade: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-byu-defensive-lineman-khyiris-tonga

Pittsburgh EDGE Patrick Jones II has a sky-high ceiling, a terrific first step and a good future profile as a 4-3 defensive end. He needs to mature a bit but if he does so, look out. Report and round grade: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-pittsburgh-edge-patrick-jones-ii

Another Pitt EDGE! Rashad Weaver doesn’t boast the same star ceiling as some other pass-rushers in this year’s class, but teams will know what they’re getting — a smart, balanced player. Should the Chiefs be interested? Scout: https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/draft/kansas-city-chiefs-nfl-draft-scouting-report-pittsburgh-edge-rashad-weaver
