My 10 Favorite Annual Review Takeaways:

1) Turn your reflection into a ritual to see things from a new perspective.
2) Give yourself permission to consider all options. Nothing is grandfathered in.
3) Lean into the surprises. It’s not that the world doesn’t make sense, it is that we haven’t yet made sense of it.
4) Wrestle with the elephant in the room. This is the best time to ask yourself the deeper questions which normally escape acknowledgment.
5) Come back to intentionality. Why are you doing what you’re doing?
6) Pinpoint the difference in each life area between “stuck” and “moving forward.” You’ll be surprised how small that difference can be.
7) When in doubt, come back to your top 3 values. (Mine are growth, wisdom, and adventure!) What would it look like to fully live in alignment with your values?
8) Rather than trying to do more, look for ways to get more value and enjoyment out of what you are already doing.
9) When setting goals, track both inputs and outputs. This way you know if being “off-track” is due to poor effort or poor execution. The key is to course-correct faster.
10) Leverage your insights. Look for ways to automatically integrate them into your current environments and routines.
