5 branding mistakes you might be making — https://www.instagram.com/p/CKPBUY1F6PR/?igshid=1aadoklsuzge2
Might as well make this into a thread 🧵🙂
1) not listening to your audience

You won’t appeal to everyone. Identify your target audience + pay attention to what they engage with when it comes to your content
2) being too trend-driven

Your brand identity should be unique. Amplify how you standout. What makes you different than everyone else?
3) confusing marketing and branding

Branding is how you appeal to your audience. It’s who/ what your brand is while marketing is making others aware of it. It’s your target audience. After you find your “who” and “what”, then find your target audience.
4) branding ≠ logo

Your logo is only a small part of your branding. Branding is the act of defining your business
5) not understanding what branding actually is

Branding is the fundamental blueprint for how you want the world to see your business
