Hey, I know this pandemic has been tough on a lot of us, and I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but:
You’re not being persecuted.
You’re not being persecuted.
And I won’t even attempt to talk about this from a theological/political perspective.
So let me address this from the viewpoint of what I do...communication.
So let me address this from the viewpoint of what I do...communication.
Just consider the optics for a moment...
If you wish to reach people outside of the Christian bubble, being vocal about how you’re being “persecuted” right now is a sure fire way to disqualify yourself on that front.

Our churches have kept hundreds of millions of dollars that would normally be paid to tax (yay!) - and now we have the audacity to claim persecution?
There are brothers and sisters truly suffering from persecution in the world - you and I ain’t it.
Not to mention, we’re expected to rejoice in persecution - not rant about your infringed rights on social.

Like, my goodness, if you ever called a Millennial/Gen Z soft, coddled, or a “snowflake” and now you’re wailing about being persecuted on Facebook, please, consider your witness.
Nobody wants to hear it.
