You know why men hate the new Star Wars movies and Captain Marvel?

Because the SJW writers treat the men in the movie like a punching bag for dealing with their own imagined enemies of the world.

Woman beats up man. There. That's the arc of every Mary Sue character out there
More than an attack on traditional masculinity (under the guise of moral superiority) this is just lazy writing.

There is no character arc for Rae or Captain Marvel.

The hero's journey works because the character is defeated and reaches a low point.
This low point leads to character development. This is interesting.

People relate to this. They struggle, hit a low point, and change.

Captain Marvel just acts snippy to everyone. Then fights Thanos and the infinity gauntlet?

(SJWs always break the rules in their movies)
Think back to Empire Strikes Back.

Luke loses to Vader. He loses his hand. He has to rise up from this low point and face his fears and his father.

It creates tension.

Now, Rae just wins every fight cause "shes awesome"

Writers are afraid to let a man beat a woman
OBVIOUSLY it is wrong for a man to beat a woman. And in a movie, this sends a bad message.

But when your antagonist is a man, and your protagonist is a woman, this conflict will occur. And now you've written yourself into a corner.

Yet Hollywood keeps doing this over and over
Maybe this is why men don't care about modern movies anymore.

Not because they're sexist (Ghostbusters remake sucked)
Not because they fear women (Charlies Angels sucked)

But because the writers are writing thinly veiled feminist propaganda. And the writing is shit
