Who prefers uncomfy facts over comforting lies? Let's find out;

1. Brexit can not be reversed. It has happened. It is like trying to un-eat your lunch. The EU has spent a fortune preparing, as have continental businesses. The UK is getting bypassed and that won't just stop now.
2. Rejoin is an option to strive for, but it is not going to be quick or easy. The UK alone does not get to decide whether it gets back in - it has to appeal to 27 other countries, several of whom it has behaved disgracefully towards recently.
3. Rejoin is possible, but rejoining with "reform", demanding the EU water down freedom of movement, or anything else, ain't happenin'. The UK won't get a rebate again, won't get all the opt outs again, won't be looked on favourably again if Farage is back on the tellybox.
4. The fish people protesting now, the farmers protesting in the spring, the car workers protesting when the factories close, etc, you're all wasting your time. UK Gov is now powerless to act on this - these are the circumstances a 3rd country faces and they ain't changing.
5. Opposition positions on EU membership are a complete irrelevance in the short (5 years or less) term. Read some of the German, Dutch, French, or Belgian media. Closer relations to the EU are possible. Knocking down these new divides just because Starmer is in charge is not.
If you really want to connect yourself to the European project there are ways to do it on a personal level - learning languages, cultivating friendships and connections on the continent, making sure local immigrants are not bullied.

But there is no way to unbrexit now.
ADDENDUM:

This might all sound grim, but there is plenty to be hopeful for.

If the UK embraces the European ideal, starts to make itself culturally more European, learns more languages, stops trying to be "world beating", it may find itself back quick.

But that's the only way.
That MUST come from the citizens, not the politicians.

Drop the "better in the tent pissing out" and the "lead not leave" arguments, and instead be more like Europeans - maintain British culture, art, history, but diversify politics, language, and accept EU immigrants fully.
