The solution to Brookside's monopoly in the milk business (by abuse of state resources & buying off of competition) hence the skyrocketing of milk prices cannot be "just use the milk ATM"
Lol. You guys. Focus. So much state engineered chaos are rubbished off as "inconsequential", with private solutions suggested as soon as it happens. Sudan toppled their longest serving dictator because bread prices shot up.
Private solutions gave us rowdy matatus and hefty (bankrupting) medical bills and abusive private schools and a joke of a school curriculum. It's this same thing that gave us phrases like "youth, just enterpreneur yourself out of poverty".
Inflation, certainly but also state engineered prices coz the president is a major milk seller and controls literally everything about that sector. It's why 500g of KCC butter is retailing at 800bob while brookside is at 500. Soon KCC will be privatized and guess who'll run it?
Sameer Group (Daima Milk)
Delamere
Molo
Tuzo
Kinangop dairies (Ilara)
All these major milk companies are under the Bookside banner. And we want to laud "free market" like it actually exists. LMAO. This is tyranny at it's finest and we can't "Milk ATM" our way out of this.

Anyways #boycottbrookside forever.
And we all know that Kenyas's rural population do not have access to milk ATMs and if you don't have a cow (most don't), you either buy packaged milk or contend with adulterated milk.
