Creating a low-income fare program for the @MBTA was veto #1 and another hit for our most vulnerable communities after important EJ provisions were vetoed in the #climate bill. 2/5
Increases to TNC fees that would have raised $100M/year for transit and municipalities was veto #2. Reducing revenue to our strangled transit system during a pandemic - good policy? 3/5
And finally vetoing the creation of a Commission on Roadway and Congestion Pricing at a time when more people will be returning to cars rather than using public transit. Don't we want to have information to base decisions on? 4/5
Where is #MA leadership? Clearly it currently resides with the #MaLegislature and not with @MassGovernor. We need bold action to regain our national leadership, business as usual has got to go. 5/5
