Stop pushing those “draw everyday” challenges. I see them everywhere and it makes my skin crawl.
That shit is exhausting, forms unhealthy habits and burns you out FAST.

Instead normalise it in (young) peoples heads that their ideas deserve to take time. Art isn’t a damn race.
If art isn’t your job there is no point in you pushing and torturing yourself to paint prompts you aren’t 100% into.

Forcing yourself can lead to a deep creative exhaustion, and can drastically reduce improvement over time. Your brain needs time to reflect and recharge.
There is nothing wrong with drawing once a week, or month, or year. Or with practising every day for a bit. As long as there is no force behind it. Creativity is a fickle being that needs to be treated gently.
Some people may pump out paintings like crazy but one day they will burn out. Maybe not today, but eventually. Or they don’t tell you the truth - that they are constantly balancing at the edge of exhaustion.
Just don’t do it. It’s not worth it. Practise healthy arting instead.
Oh boy it’s mamas first viral tweet. It’s always the rants isn’t it...

People promote stuff here right? I don’t know how this works.
