APPOINTED to CIA because he flapped his ample cheeks in favor of Donald J. Trump -- he KNEW SOMEBODY, again.

APPOINTED to Department of State before the CIA mutiny got too intense -- career-hopped from a foundering career to a more prestigious one. 3/
The only good news about Pompeo is that he'll take up a slot (or two) at the conservative think-tank to recycle this 'perils of woke' line... which means somebody with a less ~distinguished~ resume (cough, Stephen Miller, cough) ends up driving for Uber. 4/
(Remind me to go with the old-fashioned DC cabs -- NPR on the radio, solid insights on West African politics and society).
