Why Shingeki no Kyojin (Attack on Titan / The Attack Titan) is better than Naruto. A thread.
Pacing: The pace in Naruto is quick at the beginning, then then super slow at the end, riddled with unnecessary fillers.
Shingeki no Kyojin: Maintains the same pace from start to finish.

Flashbacks :
There will be ten flashbacks in a Naruto episode, the exact flashback we’ve already seen twenty times before, and there will be flashbacks in those flashbacks.
In AOT, Only those inheriting new titan powers get to see memories of their predecessors.

Realism:
A certain level of realism is needed to keep the audience guessing. In Naruto, the dead would definitely come back except where Kishimoto irrationally decides to kill off a character eg Haku, Jiraiya and Neji.
In AOT if you die, omo na the end be that.

In Naruto, there is a thing called main character privilege where no matter what, Naruto can’t be killed.
In AOT ... I rest my case bc I don’t want to spoil it for the anime watchers.

Fear: In Naruto, once you fight someone, they appear weaker.
In AOT: the terror the soldiers feel every time they fight the Titans; Trembling until they become numb despite facing those Titans hundreds of times before, that is what it means to be human.

Moves:
I’ve seen Naruto have many Rasen whatevers. Same move, different name, same level of unrealistic damage. It gets boring when a move that can raze a village to the ground kills nobody.
AOT: Levi Ackerman has done astronomical Titan damage without hurting the surroundings.

And lastly, character development.
Initially Everybody hated the loud, entitled Eren Jaeger. In fact we saw his mother get killed in front of him but we still hated him anyway and felt zero pity for him. He endured NECCESSARY hardships to save humanity from the Titans;

Even inheriting a titan which limited his lifespan to thirteen years. He grew into a character we liked.
But were all supposed to love Naruto simply because he had no parents and had a demon sealed in him; even though he was brought up like a rich kid,
But were all supposed to love Naruto simply because he had no parents and had a demon sealed in him; even though he was brought up like a rich kid,
had people die for him even though Naruto main character privilege states that he’s not allowed to actually die. He’s been the exact same positive kid who always said ‘I will never give up’ and became the village hero at the age of sixteen hence, ZERO character development.
EREN Yaegar was pushing thirty years before people finally accepted him; no unrealistic city cheering. Eren evolved into a calm man. People still looked at Eren with disdain because he inherited a titan to save these same people and this is how humans are in real life.
The end.
