Did a parody thread before but here's a more serious thread this time:
The divide in the Chelsea fanbase.

Split it into 2 categories. Lampard in and lampard out.
Reasons behind Lampard in:
-- Integration of youth. Honestly I think no other manager would have involved as many youth players as Frank has. Transfer ban or not, i think the result would have been the same. A week ago the outcry about our starting lineup not continuing enough...
.. youth players against Morecambe 🤣. First time I've seen us complain about lack of youngsters. With the amount of youth players now playing for us, our expectations were higher.
But on the whole, there are hopefully no more kdb/salah cases where we let out youth players go
-- Possibly the biggest point - it's a process. The reason why we hired lampard was to break that cycle of: hire a manager, win trophies in 1/2 great seasons, have a meltdown the next season, fire the manager and repeat.
We thought it would happen with conte, then with sarri....
And now with Lampard. I think the club got lampard of all people cos it would lessen the blow of not winning trophies. We r trying to create a dynasty and build a team which can last.
Last season many of us probably didn't even expect top 4. Here we are.
I hate when people say why didn't u keep the same energy for sarri then? First off I wasn't there on twitter back then and even if I was I would have been the same as I am with lampard. I backed conte, I backed sarri and I backed lampard.
Only under exceptional circumstances would i want my team to lose for the greater good. Say the manager is sabotaging us and being extremely toxic? Only then.
My point is dont compare lampard with our previous managers. We all as fans can improve.
The fans who abused sarri were wrong to do so. End of. Don't abuse lampard in return for what those fans did to sarri. Be better.
Lampard out:
- inexperienced - lampard has no where near the same experience as other top managers. Hes sometimes been tactically inept and doesn't take enough blame off the players. Admit ur wrong at times too. Now the qs is we've got the squad, why not upgrade managers too?
And that's a fair point imo, if u believe lampard aint it thats fine. Thats ur opinion. But don't keep flip flopping by saying ur lampard in one day and then lampard out the next.
- Mason mount. I suppose this is one of the biggest issues. People dislike him when it aint his fault. Lampard has imo has overplayed him at times and it possibly looks like favouritism. Playing him simply to accommodate it is silly. And he needs to rectify that.
Thats where the other problem seeps in. Formation.
Have we built our team around mount? Is that good or bad? Are we moving other players elsewhere and out of position just to accommodate him? Now that aint mounts fault. That's on lampard. My biggest problem was last season...
Playing mount on the wing made no sense. He looked soo poor at times and just exhausted from constantly playing.
The qs is what if its just cos mount is the type of player every manager wants? What if even under a new manager the same happens? Idk how i would feel 🤣
-- Mistreatment of our players. The likes of kova, giroud, cho all get disregarded all of a sudden. Kova our best player last season has had very little chances this season and therefore can't get into form. Cho who has performed regularly doesn't start enough.
My final point. I don't mind if ur lampard in or out. That's just ur opinion. But don't act as though u know whats best for Chelsea and others don't. We all want whats best for our club. 💙
I seriously doubt people would read this many words but if u do great! Much appreciated and would love to hear ur thoughts!!
I just needed to get this off my chest.😅
