Good practice would indicate that a public consultation should be open for min 12 weeks to allow stakeholders to respond. The women's sector are currently working on 12 different consultation responses. It's not possible to get the views of women in these short deadlines

This one isn't even open for 6 weeks. We need to ensure that women's voices are heard and inform policy making. The constant calls for evidence and consultations with very little time to respond totally undermines this work. We are also trying to manage this in a global pandemic
Engaging with section 75 groups should be a meaningful process. Our underfunded sector is struggling to respond to the sheer volume of consultations, yet if we don't respond it can be stated that the process was open to the public and we had our opportunity. It's not good enough
All departments should take note of the @WRDA_team guidelines for public authorities on putting women at the heart of public consultations. Good practice is being ignored, we don't have adequate time to do research with women & this will result with women's voices being missing
