Hey yeah quick personal note: as of today it's been 2 years with my s/o and uhh, yeah that's pretty fucking awesome. Some of y'all know who she is on here, I don't want to @ her because I don't want trolls to catch wind of her one of these days. But anywho, a small thread: 1/4
We decided instead of two years, we're calling it "1 year and 1 2020" because 2020 was such a dumpster fire. But, in all the misery and chaos, we had a lot to celebrate. We bought a house together (literally a week before the country shut down cause COVID), we got Barf and 2/4
Moved King to live with us. So we were super lucky. We've had each other and the 3 furballs the entire time to be each other's rock. It hasn't been easy at times, but really it...it kind of has been? Some rocky times sure but a lot of people are separated from s/os and family 3/4
And we've gotten to build a foundation for *hopefully* our long term futures. And that's been really special. I'm still not sure what a PhD machine learning AI meteorology programmer lady wants to do with little ol enlisted me but I am incredibly grateful every single day

Also now we have a puppy coming home March 5th and we are about to be the best fucking puppy parents ever.
Love her to death. So much, I still can't believe it. Gonna marry her one day and I never said that about someone before, so for me that's mind-blowing /end sappiness
