Someone tweeted about the manga Blue Period and now I'm stuck into it and THE CHARACTER DESIGN IN THIS MANGA IS SO GOOOOOOOOOOD
Different not just in costuming and Anime Haircut, but in posture, shape, attitude, affect... MAN this is nice. Actual CHARACTERS in the pages rather than blank ciphers.
Also, sometimes there's just panels like this one where it's like... DAMN that shapeliness like you get that perfect hunched-over tensed up sense from the shoulder blades and back muscles of the guy and you can see the emotional tension in him as well and that's just good acting
Other times you get pure fucking JoJo posing like this and it works SO WELL because it's exactly the right attitude for the character!
