Honestly, I recall going through puberty as terrible. I felt it was disgusting-being made to change for PE was hell and comments from other children were brutal. That said I had no one telling me I was dysphoric, that I could be trans, or encouraging me to wear a binder. 1/2
2/2 No one promised me I could feel much happier if I just took puberty blockers so I could stay in the body I liked.
Todays children are bombarded with messages about gender. They are told in the midst of their natural struggle with developing bodies they are to pick which gender, which medications, which surgery they should aim to have.
Alone in their bedrooms they gingerly type "Am I trans?", often they detail past child sexual abuse and/or reveal they are autistic. Then they are met with kind, friendly, sweet reassuring voices telling them - if you are asking, you are!
Puberty is hard enough without being told to select from a gender menu your future happiness depends on. The age children are getting not just peer pressure but societal pressure to shake the foundations of their sex is getting younger. The EU funded this to target kids aged 3-5
The rate in children identifying as trans is rising at such a rate you can be assured a child you will know, will soon be struggling with how can they get the money they need to pay for the meds that promise them happiness.
One lad wrote in asking was he trans explaining further that he thought he was trans because that would mean he could keep his hair. He didn't want to be a bald man. No problem came the soft, friendly, sweet replies - he was trans and he could simply take Finasteride.
So you have peer group pharmaceutical advice without any concern for the adverse reactions and interactions. No care for the dosage and as for the legality - pah, a hindrance/roadblock conjured up by right wing women. The truth is left wing men have abandoned these kids.
The bulk of left wing men are now pathetic, too scared to put medical ethics over the profits of the pharmaceutical industry.They have sold out. They have sold all our children out. As a left wing woman - I am furious.
The truth is the men on the left have put their sexual rights above the rights of their children to be safe and for them to grow up unsterilised. Their silence will be remembered by the children who will go on to detransition, asking why did you let me? How could you?
The grim truth is that most children who trans stand a high chance of dying before their parents. Their parents may well have to care for them at 30 as their bones crumble or deal with their collostomy bags, all needlessly awarded by gender.
WHO WILL PAY? Health services are on their knees, insurance companies operate for profit, so who will cover the cost of this tsunami of unwell young adults? When will the glitter and rainbows give way to the realism about the medical damage and reduced life expectancy?
