I hesitated posting this. It’s a harsh reality & one that’s whispered about but never really put front & center. We are a year into this horrible disease, we are making any & all decisions to preserve life from this disease, we have forgotten about other illnesses.
This is a look at the repercussions of doing that. Look at their faces. These children deserved so much more. 
So did their parents. We need to work on solutions that do their best to keep EVERYONE safe. 1 in 4 young adults are struggling with suicidal thoughts since COVID hit.

London Bruns ended her life on Sept. 21, 2020, she was 13.
17 year old Elise Kersch ended her life on October 4, 2020.
Kanasha Manning died by suicide on November 15, 2020. She was only 17.
Livia Edens, a middle school student, ended her life on October 5th, she was 13.
Anyiah Small from Centerville, Iowa took her own life on January 1st, 2021. She was 12 years old.
Charley Tennen was 17 when she ended her life on July 4th.

Iris Allen was a freshman in high school. Just 14 when she completed suicide by hanging on November 9, 2020.
Donovan Krauss, ended his life on January 4th, 2021. He was 12 years old. His mother shared a heartbreaking post. 
Brayden Vinson, 14 ended his life on November 12th.

Dylan Buckner was 18 years old when he ended his life by leaping to his death at an Embassy Suites on January 7th, 2021.

Celia Rico ended her life on January 21st, 2021. She was 14.

Kodie Dutcher ended her life on July 2020. She was 10 years old. She left her mom a note that read

Christian Robbins ended his life on April 26th 2020. He was 16.
Landon Fuller, an outgoing 11-year-old from, loved to make people laugh. He ended his life on April 23rd, 2020.
Keegan Smith was 14 when he ended his life on October 6th, 2020.
Jazmarie Nieves was 13 when she committed suicide on June 22nd, 2020.

Xander Young was 13 when he completed suicide from a gunshot to the chest on July 13, 2020.
Mia Selena Segovia was 14 when she ended her life on June 19th, 2020.
Timothy Leonard ended his life on August 4, 2020. He was 16.
Khalil Boyland ended his life on August 7th, 2020. He was 16 years old.
Jacob Gmuer ended his life on January 5, 2021. He was 14.
I think a lot of you completely miss the point. We have no idea if opening up would’ve changed anything. BUT and that’s a HUGE BUT, what we are doing now is 100% not working. At all. Not when it comes to Covid, suicide, overdosing, domestic violence, abuse etc.
I also would implore those who feel their kids are doing well at home to google a little. Many of the parents of the children in this thread had absolutely no idea their child wasn’t happy. I think that’s the scariest part. You may think your child is thriving at home. Are they?
