So... several of you may not know I’m currently in Washington D.C.

For starters, I planned this trip back in November to visit a friend and go to the inauguration.

Now that that’s out of the way...
Here’s some of the things I’ve seen.
As you begin to approach the Downtown area, military presence increases. Several businesses are also boarded up.

Take a look at what I would consider a checkpoint. Completely guarded and individuals have to show credentials to get through.
And yes, several are armed.
