People need to get the fact through their heads that not everyone cares how hard or not you had it growing up and that also doesn't determine your success or not. You can improve or keep throwing a pity party about the past and present if you'd like, but the choice is yours.

This isn't me saying PuLl YoUrSelF uP bY yOuR boOtsTrAps, we are all in different places- this is me telling you that no one is coming to save you and someone does not get more likely to want to save you the more you complain and demand respect.

Some people will always be miserable. They want to be. Let them. Help the ones you can, but don't waste your time on anyone determined to lower you down with them.
