its interesting that they left out any mention of Sally Hemings in the Jefferson section or Washington’s dodging of abolition laws and using legal loopholes to avoiding freeing his slaves in Philadelphia.
Many of the Founding Fathers owned slaves and benefited greatly from slavery as institution. Regardless of whatever they said in their personal letters, the fact of the matter is that these men got rich off of human trafficking and enslavement.
Gosh we’re lucky this man is hopefully going out of office in a couple days. His “patriotic education” would have been a disaster.
