I’m not surprised, I guess, but Democrats really spent two months urging the base to pour $400 million into Georgia Senate races, promising that victory would mean massive changes... and then decided to share some of the power they won with the GOP. Stunning.

Even if there isn’t going to be some massive impact on procedure or policy, do Democrats not understand what it says to the voters who risked life and limb, donated in a historic recession, and turned out in record numbers, that they’re going to give the GOP anything?

The Republicans spent 2020 lying about Covid, blocking relief, embracing QAnon, slandering Black activists, and enabling the death of half a million Americans. And then they encouraged a coup.

Legitimizing the GOP is an insult to the 85 million voters who trusted Democrats.
