Westbrook was drafted with the 4th pick by the "Seattle Supersonics" soon to be OKC Thunder. Coming out of UCLA he was known as a defensive guard , and less of a scorer
In his rookie season, he made All-Rookie first team averaging 15.3 Points , 5.3 ast, 1.3 steals while playing the great defense he was promised to provide coming out of UCLA. He also played all 82 games
The Following Season the Thunder went from a 23 win team to a 50 win team

In 2010 the Thunder won 55 games and went all the way to the WCF

In 2013/14 Westbrook plays only 46 games coming off surgery. His superstar teammate Kevin Durant won MVP and OKC won 59 games.. They would go on to loose in the WCF

In 14/15 Westbrook finished 4th in MVP voting after becoming the 1st option for most of the season. KD only played 27 games due to a foot injury and OKC only wins 45 games and barely misses the postseason.

In 2015/16 with KD returning , Westbrook and the Thunder won 55 games and fell ONE game short of beating the greatest NBA team (record wise) after being up 3-1 , this is known as one of the biggest chokes in NBA History.. This resulted in KD joining GSW in FA the next season
Westbrook put up 23-10-8 in the 15/16 season he also won the All Star MVP this season
In 16/17 with KDs departure and Ibaka traded , Westbrook was by himself to carry this roster to the playoffs..

Westbrook averaged 31-10-10 becoming the first-ever player since Oscar Robertson to average a triple-double.
He lead the NBA in scoring, lead the NBA in triple-doubles , lead the NBA in clutch points , most rebounds for a guard , 2nd most assists

Not only was he the MOST clutch player , he also had some of the best plays and performances in this season , including a 35 + foot buzzer beater in a 50 point performance in a TD vs Denver , 57 point TD vs Orlando , 58 point game vs TB , 18 straight points plus the GW vs Dallas
The following season he became the first player ever to average a triple-double in consecutive seasons putting up 25-10-10 .. OKC lost in the 1st round but Westbrook did everything he could to push them to the promised land
In 2018/19 he helped Paul George have his best season in his career finishing top 3 in MVP. When healthy OKC was a top 3 seed in the West , the Andre Roberson injury plus a Paul George shoulder injury eventually slowed them down to a 1st round exit vs Portland
Westbrook averaged 22-11-11 in his 3rd consecutive year of averaging a TD
In 19/20 Westbrook averaged 27-7-7 on high efficiency on his new team , the Houston Rockets after requesting a trade out of OKC in the offseason. They would go on to loose to the champs in the 2nd round after Westbrook battled through a quad injury
Now Westbrook plays for the Washington Wizards where he is currently out a month with a quad injury
