So the other night I wondered how easy it would be to make a tweet (and the replies to it) viral so I asked a question which I knew would have wide appeal and it took off. Over a quarter of a million views in 24 hours, hundreds of replies and a lot of discussion.
So once the 24 hours were up I posed the opposite (ish) question and gave it the same level of engagement and reply RTs etc from my end. The replies were beautiful and life affirming. After 24 hours, these are the stats.
Roughly speaking, discussion of negative experiences reached over 15 times further. I’m sure someone has proper data on this but just struck me as interesting. I thought it would be close, it wasn’t at all.
