Firstly, this is a *good thing* but because of restrictions, most of the services that keep carers sane, haven't been operating for months. The mention for carers today was much needed but, though it sounds brutal, I know most carers will roll their eyes if they're offered another head massage/coffee drop in at a carers centre (guess those won't be possible either mind you).
What they really need is hope. If we're lucky services will re-start. And offer a bit of sanity to carers who've been trapped indoors for months. The idea that we actually have properly-funded care offering meaningful activity for our loved ones remains a distant dream
