Sport is suffering in Jamaica and there is no way it should be like this.
I saw an interview with @CaroleBeckford on #TVJ where she expressed her disappointment with how sport is being treated locally by government etc and I must agree. You get the impression that there is no plan for safe resumption or just a way forward for the industry
I have consistently maintained that the Ministry of sport could do a better job of updating the country on the plans to restart sport, if there is a phase "restart', what are the expectations based on any consultations with MOH.
Some of things to consider are:
1. How can we have training safely locally?
2. overseas athlete who return to renew passport/visa how can they train without compromising health situation since they have to quarantine and if they are inactive that is another headache.

3. Are there plans for athletes who have Olympic qualifiers overseas? since it will be a small window for qualifications?
4. Will JA athlete get to the front of the line for vaccine should Tokyo2020 demand that all athletes and officials get vaccine to compete?

Then Locally
1. Several Athletes, coaches, officials (referees, umpires) , journalist, PE teachers, Administrators are not earning. How do we find a way to help them? or we just say its a pandemic and everyone is suffering? Where do they turn?
2. Just simple. What is the Plan?
