Just a friendly reminder that Garth Brooks *never* endorsed or supported Trump. That misperception is due to a shoddily reported story from last summer about the Trump camp reaching out to Brooks, implying there was a connection. Brooks rejected/ignored the request.
Anyone who knows anything about country music knows that Garth Brooks is pretty well known for being a progressive oddball of the country music world. He was an LGBTQ supporter early in the '90s. He had songs banned from country radio stations. He's not a Trump supporter.
Also, since this is MLK Day: Garth Brooks drew a lot of raised eyebrows with racist white country music fans in the early '90s when he featured Dr. King prominently in his music video for "The Dance". Now? No biggie, nothing special. Back then? It really stood out.
