Lil Wayne : Lil Wayne asked Drake to come on board with him for his Carter 3 tour to Houston . After touring with Wayne , Drake released his 3rd Mixtape ‘ So Far Gone ‘ in 2009 featuring ‘ Best I Ever Had ‘ which peaked #2 on Billboard .
Going Big : A bidding war appeared for Drakes signature as mid 2009 he signed a deal with Lil Wayne’s YME .
