Two weeks into my OMAD experiment

So Iā€™ve been on this journey toward weight loss since my daughter was born three years ago

Before that I was the fittest I had been since I was a kid

I was training hard. Eating right. Things were looking good

But baby girl changed all that because she almost never slept
Iā€™m talking UP ALL NIGHT

Maybe sleep for an hour

Then back to crying and crying for a few more hours

It was a struggle

Donā€™t let the smiles fool you

This little angel was the devil šŸ˜ˆ
So a few years go by and I never really for myself back on track

My habits were bad

My will was weak

And my mindset was broken

It became time for drastic measure

At least for me
So I decided to give OMAD a try

One meal a day, dinner

The plan would be to eat after six and stop before nine

Iā€™ve allowed myself some snack type foods but I keep it to a minimum

Iā€™m two weeks in and Iā€™m down 11.8 pounds
The struggles are that I get a little hungry during the day

But Iā€™ve found if I keep myself busy, I can manage the hunger

I drink extra water and that helps

And I focus on eating natural, low sugar foods so I stay satisfied longer
Another thing that has helped is that I do allow myself a small amount of some sort of snack most days

This helps me feel like Iā€™m not over restrictive and will hopefully keep me going for the long haul

So Iā€™m mostly restricting my eating times and not so much my foods
Anyway, Iā€™m feeling good

I have good energy levels

And I have more time for other things since Iā€™m not packing a lunch or eating during my break at work

Gonna stick with this for now and keep losing some fat
