So for this one, I take on the AWESOME Netflix show that updates the Karate Kid universe. I HATE nostalgia and reboots—but this one is great. It has no right to be this good. As @Scrface87 would do:

In my reading, Daniel LaRusso is Democrats: underdogs turned winners who are now too cocky for their own good. As @MattEPannell would do:

Johnny Lawrence is obviously the GOP: winners turned losers trying to redeem themselves and ultimately not bad—but their past keeps dragging them down. As @MexicanKeto would do:

And the sociopathic John Kreese, Johnny’s sensei, and one of the great screen villains? Why Donald Trump, of course: hell-bent on destroying what he claims to defend, and brainwashing good people in the process. As @paperandthyme would do:

Season 3 of #cobrakai ends with Daniel and Johnny uniting their dojos against Kreese—and even Kreese agrees to stop his total war and let everyone face off in a sanctioned tournament. It’s a lesson in diplomacy and rapprochement that all of us can learn. As @CalDuranie would do:
