archived tumblr post that is linked as evidence by multiple people in the thread. every claim in this post is a link to corresponding articles or posts to serve as evidence http://archive.is/QhmLJ
whenever I see the ao+ arguments start, fans will often say that any evidence is either debunked, outdated or just plain unreliable, and in a lot of cases they're right. however these three links are very well put together and organized accounts that feel reliable--
and I encourage everyone to read them and reassess their opinion on the show. even if ao+'s general theme is "war is bad" there are underlying messages in the character design and worldbuilding that connect to deeply problematic views the author holds
at the very least it must be addressed and acknowledged. furthermore, stop attacking people esp jewish and korean people who hate the story and are vocal about it. considering everything in these links, they're more than entitled to it.
I meant to add this earlier but here's a really good textual analysis that shows how isayama's ideologies carry over to aot's actual plot and message!! really well written please read this one too https://twitter.com/nanamibread/status/1351264311595978752
