MINNEAPOLIS: Broadway & University NE, Speedway. Vehicle at pump, with a male felony suspect inside known to carry weapons. Female driver was walking into the store, male was in passenger seat. Roseville PD asked MPD assistance.

Male moved to drivers seat and took off, exited eastbound Broadway. Squads following lights and sirens. He left female behind.
** Going the wrong way - eastbound in westbound lane.
** Corrected direction. Speeds 80.

** Southbound Broadway coming up to Hennepin. WB Hennepin. Pursuit terminated.
** Last seen SB 35W from Hennepin. Female reported they only have a gallon or two in the tank.
** Plate 065UPB. State Patrol pursuing.

Then 35W southbound, speeds 90, nearing Crosstown. Flight is not available, but Ramsey Co. deputies are assisting now.

Taking 494 now. Suspect is a white male, black baseball hat and black jacket. Bloomington K9 joining pursuit. PIT was unsuccessful. Speeds 105, traffic moderate and yielding.

Went back northbound on 35W.

Officers got him stuck up against the rail at 35W & 46th St. - taking him into custody.
