there are restrictions on Brahmins,Kschatriyas and everyone...One of the restrictions on women is that they shouldn't chant गायत्री मंत्र..a very simple logic is...यज्ञोपवीत/ जनेऊ is essential for Gayatri Mantra...having said that these restrictions don't restrict anyone from2/4+

ultimate spiritual goals i.e a woman by chanting the Mantras she is authorised in will get the same spiritual benefits that those who are authorised in Gayatri will get by chanting Gayatri..Shankaracharya will get the same result by performing duties he is authorised in that3/4+

those who are authorised in Yagna will get by doing Yagna
