United flying high. In pole position. The best chance at a title the club has had in year. Yet, even with all of this on the line, the Glazers refuse to pump money into their cash cow. 1/2
Since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013, this is the first time Manchester United have been in first place after New Year’s Day. What an opportunity. After 7 years of suffering, Manchester United fans could finally have something to celebrate. 2/2
In the summer of 2020, Manchester United fans were taken on a wild journey when the Jadon Sancho saga kicked off in early August. The saga continued throughout the summer, until hopes were slashed in the final days. 1/3
Some United fans even went as far to purchase shirts with the name “Sancho” on the back. This was partly due to some ITK accounts jumping the gun, confirming that Sancho would join Manchester United, as evidently did not happen. 2/3
This led to a huge amount of twitter comments on every one of their twitter posts, consistently tweeting “Don’t Care, Sign Sancho”. 3/3
Before the January transfer window, Manchester United fans had genuine hope of signing multiple players. Rumours were flooded with news about Max Aarons, Moises Caicedo and Cristiano Ronaldo. 1/2
However, once again, Manchester United appear to be in for a dull transfer window, with no reports from credible sources that Manchester United are in talks to sign any players. 2/2
Finally, over the course of 2020, Manchester United debt doubled to over £470 Million. Despite this astronomical debt, dividends of over £23 Million were paid out to shareholders. This paragraph alone highlights everything wrong with Manchester United.
