Parler back up thanks to Russian DDoS protection software DDoS-Guard IP.

Fun fact: DDoS-Guard IP also hosts the official website for Hamas. https://twitter.com/adamsculthorpe/status/1350872780355596289
It remains to be seen how much the platform will reconstitute itself, but the foreign influence implications of a Russia-based host of Americans’ speech are deeply troubling.
According to @AdamSculthorpe, the Parler website domain is registered with Epik, which services Gab, InfoWars, and The Daily Stormer. Extremist sites connect beyond the surface layer of the internet. https://twitter.com/adamsculthorpe/status/1350879905102385152
Russian co. DDoS Guard also provides services to the Russian Ministry of Defense. https://twitter.com/scottmstedman/status/1351289722753015809
For an extensive list of websites DDoS Guard provides hosting services for, see this research from Krebs on security @briankrebs (linked to here) https://krebsonsecurity.com/2021/01/hamas-may-be-threat-to-8chan-qanon-online/).

They include phishing sites and fora tied to cybercrime.
