They count on the average American not paying attention... one of the worst parts about Trump being in office was everyone was paying attention to what government was doing... they don't want that... they want you to go back to sleep... not keep your attention on them.

One man will never be able to drain the DC swamp. Trump proved that. Its too big. There are way too many people there willing to defend their ability to grift. Democrats and GOP swamp will band together to protect the grift machine.

I don't think Trump even understood what the swamp was before he was president. I think he knew it was shady... but I don't think he had any idea to what lengths it goes to protect their grift.
