Navika begins her show on a sombre note, recalling how the chair she sits in once belonged to Arnab, who had hired her in one go in August 2005 just before the launch. Oh Dear, it's going to turn bad soon, real bad.
Sanskaar, values, customs invoked. She wishes Arnab hadn't forgotten the "human value system" in his "quest for ratings".
Ab awaaz oonchi ho rahi hai. Lekin no fireworks yet. I am sad.
Navika says she thought she was filling in the "big shoes of Arnab" but adds they are "tight", they were never really "big". She hopes she doesn't end up "becoming a vulture that this man possibly has become". What a show! I am loving it.
Lekin Navika appears sad. "Oh he had all the success at his command, but he wanted to convert it into a commercial success."

"Where does one draw the line?"
"Mr Goswami crossed the Rubicon a few years ago," says Nikunj, internal security editor, Times Now. "TRP was the goddess Mr Goswami worshipped," he adds. Oh Dear, Oh Dear!
Nikunj adds: "What shocks me is his hyena-like celebration."

"Absolute gutter." Oh God, this man never enjoyed working with him. He is exacting his revenge tonight.
"Success will come and success will go. Profits will come and profits will go...

"To me, value system is important," says a sad Navika.
Anand Ranganathan, the good old friend of Mr Goswami, now weighs in. "There can be no justification for comments made about Pulwama martyrs."

Now, I want to wait and watch if Anand will go back to Republic and hound other penalists as his good friend Goswami does.
Anand lauds NDTV for bringing Barkha live and questioning her. He expects republic to do something similar. Hahah. Statement padhi yaar Anand. BMKJ bol diya bas ho gaya.
I don't know why I am live-tweeting this, but I am absolutely loving this. Sanjay Jha, introduced as "suspended Congress leader", is now speaking. He says, "Arnab is pathologically obsessed with his phone." He adds that Arnab "continuously checks ratings" and boasts of them.
Navika returns: "Shayad ab ye wo insaan hi nahin hain, jise ham jaante the." Hahah
Ashutosh, ex-journalist, quotes Arnab, saying he once told him: "Yaar mujhe TV par aate hi pata nahin kya ho jata hai."

Navika interrupts: "Aap Sab kuch TRP pr dosh rahe hain? Kuch insaan ki values hoti hain, nahin Ashutosh ji".
Ab Navika thodha gussa ho rahi hain. "Ham private conversation mein vultures ki tarah naach rahe the".

"Kya ye TRP ki majboori hai ya insaan ke zameer ke marne ki baat hai," says Navika. Yes, in Hindi.
Anand Ranganathan, I am sure, will be seen on Republic soon. He hasn't really said anything to lose Mr Goswami's friendship. I, in fact, think he was sent by Goswami to defend him on this show.
It appears the debate is heading towards the end. My takeaway: Navika and his penalists have ensured nothing, absolutely nothing, goes against the government in this entire drama.
Navika appears teary-eyed and before ending the show she says, "Bhagwaan sab ko success dena par not at the cost of values."

"Values se zyada important kuch nahin. I am leaving you, viewers, with that," she says.

That's it, people. Thanks for joining and reading it all here.
