“I spent $100 on Facebook ads and didn’t get a single sale”

A thread on why I despise these words:
First things first please don’t say this to me to start a conversation. Please.

Okay, SO..

Facebook ads are meant to bring more than just sales.
Here’s what’s more important than sales:

How many people did your ad reach?

How many people clicked on your ad?

How many people came back to your ad?

How many emails did you collect? How many did you send?
Let’s say you run an ad that brings a client to your website & they enter their email & join your list for a discount.

Now let’s say you send out an email in a few days to your entire list with a discount.

Same person from your ad opens email, checks out and you make a sale.
This is why traffic and attracting the right audience is just as important as sales.

Your ad reached 1,450 people and you’re mad because you didn’t make sales.

If you walked in a room full of 1,450 could you sell to every single one?

Some people aren’t qualified to buy.
It’s YOUR job to figure out who is qualified in your audience and who isn’t and then learn how to solve their problems.

Sell your solution to their problems.
Next, you need to be creating custom audiences so you can target anyone who

+ views your videos
+ engages with your Instagram
+ joined your email list
+ adds to cart
+ purchased

Etc.

You should be spending 70% retargeting and 30% on cold audiences.
Once you’re making a good profit and consistent sales you can move on to your LLA.

But listen, sis...

Ads are a process not a gamble. You can absolutely get out what you put in.

How long are you willing to try?
