Three MLK Day Thoughts: (1) If it weren't for MLK, I would not have graduated from 3 schools I attended and would not have my current job. That's how recent the benefits are. [I'm the first black person in my role at *every* school I've taught. Never made the news though.

(2) If you're a racial minority (Asian, African, Caribbean, etc.), not a descendant of American slavery/Jim Crow, & enjoying greater economic prosperity in 2021 than those who are, you should be thankful for America's Black Jim Crow generation for the Civil Rights Movement. #ADOS
(3) We have yet to hold white Christians accountable for Jim Crow and the chronic miseducation of their children & grandchildren about the context for America's racial tensions are getting us nowhere.
