Plus it comes with the splashdown special, which is perfect for somebody like DK.

Diddy Kong: Enperry Splat Dualies
This one was the most obvious pick for me, they’re dual shooters like the peanut popguns, have good mobility, and the Inkjet special is similar to the Rocketbarrel Boost from DK64.

Dixie Kong: Inkbrush Nouveau
I really chose this because the Inkbrush has more in common with Dixie’s hair-attacks then any other weapon. I went with the Nouveau version because it comes with the Baller special, which is something I can see her using instead of splashdown.

Funky Kong: Heavy Splatling Remix
This one is perfect for Funky. It matches his color scheme more than any other splatling. Plus, it comes with the Booyah Bomb. If you don’t think Funky wouldn’t use a special where the key is to shout “Booyah!” then you’re just crazy.

Tiny Kong: Custom Jet Squelcher
I took her feather bow from DK64 into consideration when thinking about what weapon to choose. Both the Feather Bow & Jet Squelcher are shooting weapons with good range but deal little damage.

Lanky Kong: Bamboozler 14 Mk III
Another obvious pick for me. It’s bamboo-like appearance gives it a slight resemblance to his Grape Shooter. Plus I can see him using the fizzy bomb sub-weapon and bubble blower special.

Chunky Kong: Gold Dynamo Roller
Like Chunky dynamo rollers are slow and heavy, but also powerful. Went for the gold one specifically because it’s Ink Armor special protects those that use it, which is a good for somebody who fears getting hurt.

King K. Rool: Grim Range Blaster
Of course if DK gets a blaster King K. Rool is gonna go for the mean, green blaster with superior range. Not to mention the chaotic Tenta-Missile special is matches an unhinged antagonist quite well, just ask Flyfish.

Krusha: .96 Gal
I could’ve gave him a dynamo roller like Chunky but I thought about his orange launcher from DK64 and realized how well the .96 Gal weapon fits. Both have high damage and range, and the Ink Armor special suits Krusha since in DKC some attacks don’t phase him.

Klump: Custom Explosher
I just think it matches with him pretty well. The color kinda matches his helmet, and considering that he has this whole military theme going a weapon with “explosion” in the name just works.
