Many of us are writers, too, and we want to support writers. But please make sure before referring a writer friend to see if we're accepting subs

Why I say this is often friends and family who are close to us may think, "Well, I know this agent, so I can get my writer friend in with this agent."

But not only does that make us feel just like a business card to you, but often we're not acquiring

If you really want your writing friend in front of agents/editors, the best way is for them to follow the rules

We're not generally fans of submissions that ignore submissions guidelines and try to get us in our dms
