This thread will look at each and every offside that was given against Man United and will determine if something went wrong in the play [e.g. the timing of the run/pass].

He can't see the defensive line as he is facing the ball. This means that he guesses/gambles where the line is. We cannot see whether he checks his shoulder when Pogba receives the ball.
That would've allowed him to see the line and perhaps hold his run for half a second.

Pogba controls Fred's pass on his chest very well and then creates space for a switch of play to Martial, who is given offside.
This is just a poor decision from the linesman, as Martial looks to be played on by both Henderson and Fabinho.

Even if he was marginally offside, which it doesn't look like he is, the linesman should've let the play develop, because it was most definitely not a clear offside decision and could've been consulted by VAR had the play developed into a goal or penalty.

This was poor from Maguire. He has the entire Liverpool line in his vision but simply mistimes his run to the back post and is clearly offside.

This offside was not captured well, and a replay wasn't shown either. But Fernandes' first time ball in behind was good and Rashford ran onto it, from the second image he looks as if he was probably offside when the ball was kicked.

It is definitely tough because Alisson sweeps very well, but with the pace advantage Rashford has on any of those Liverpool defenders, you wouldn't mind Rashford giving them half a yard to ensure he is onside, but like I said, it is tough.

This was actually a very well-timed run from the Englishman. This is likely because he has Fabinho in his vision, so can time the run better.

This time, as Wan-Bissaka progresses, Rashford is in an off-side position for almost the entire time. He doesn't check the line and is facing his teammate, so when Wan-Bissaka does play the pass, Rashford makes his run and is ultimately clearly offside.

From a corner, Rashford is the blocker to try and stop Alisson from coming out to collect. Yet, Wijnaldum steps up and Rashford doesn't react; leaving him clearly offside.

Overall, Rashford was called offside when making a run behind the Liverpool line 4 times. 2 of which were clear offsides, 1 which looked like it was probably offside and 1 which was actually onside.
That 1 which was onside, was the only run he made from the left out of them all.

While Rashford is a solid option coming from the right, with Pogba likely to play more on the left as he has done previously, it looks like he needs to improve his awareness of where the opposition line is if he is not constantly looking at it as he can on the left.
It was clear that there was space to attack in behind and United tried to utilise the ball in behind multiple times and it worked but we were also sloppy a number of times.
If Rashford times his runs more consistently, he will be sure to have more opportunities in transitions.
