What are zingai:
Zingai (人外) refers to inhuman creatures - similar to what we would call monsters in English, though without the negative connotations. The various creatures that colour Eve's music videos are referred to as zingai, some may be scary and some may be cute!

In a 2019 interview, Eve briefly mentioned that the zingai in his music videos tend to represent 'another part' of their corresponding protagonists. This theme is also present in his manga "Kara no Kioku", in which zingai are explained to be the reflection of one's heart

Boy with the backpack: Otogiri Tobi (as named by Eve) or Inochi (as referred to by Mariyasu)
Otogiri comes from the plant, meaning "suspicion" and "animosity", Tobi is written with the kanji for "flying"
