i was going to keep this thought in my head but literally one of the biggest anime youtubers physically went into an anime studio to show in part how anime is made and some still insist on calling staff lazy.

the vid doesn't show the complete process, but it touches on important points - remember this is in the pandemic so there are hundreds if not thousands of staff doing such things from home.

I just watched this video now (I've been subbed to SFA for a while though!) and it might just be the most thorough video - it's much more on the technical side but it's hard to wrong as it's made by actual animators who know their way around the pipeline:
i wouldn't usually say this but sharing resources and stuff is actually quite important right now - i say this mostly because *part* of all the harassment + general animation discourse that is uninformed comes from a lack of understanding for the process itself. hope this helps.
