Instead of nailing his colours to the mast, and following the rejoin mandate of the party members at conference, he takes almost the same position as Starmer!

With the chaos and damage being caused by Brexit, it is entirely possible that this country will rapidly change it's mind about membership of the EU and clamour to rejoin.

Davey, instead of anticipating that possibility has just resigned his party to a mediocre ambition of slow and timid change.
